Why is it stated in the precautions for the ITV series electro-pneumatic regulator that the power should be turned OFF when the supply pressure is cut?
Also, is there anything else that needs to be done?

If the supply pressure is turned OFF without changing the input signal, the solenoid valve built into the regulator continues to operate while generating a buzzing sound, affecting the life of the solenoid valve.
This is why the power needs to be turned OFF.
When the source pressure is down, and the input signal to the regulator is 0% (0 MPa), the solenoid valve stops operating.
