What is the difference between KF series insert fittings and H/DL/L/LL series self-align fittings?
-
The mechanism for holding the tube by tightening with a sleeve is the same.
Insert fittings retain the inner and outer diameters of the tube due to the insert mechanism, making it difficult for resin tubes to leak. In addition, the inner diameter of the insert part is not widened, making it easy to install piping and ensuring secure retention even with a variety of tubing materials.
Self-align fittings do not have an insert part, so the flow resistance is minimal and it is ideal for large flow rates. Self-align fittings can also be used with soft copper pipes.
Note) For KF series fittings, it is necessary to select a model that matches not only the tube O.D. but also the tube I.D.
