What are the possible causes of air occasionally leaking from the knob of an AR series regulator? When this happens, the pressure indicated on the regulator’s pressure gauge is higher than the set pressure.

When the pressure on the OUT side becomes higher than the set pressure, the relief function operates to release the air on the OUT side from the knob to try to return to the set pressure.
Compressed air is released from the gap around the knob to the outside through the relief hole provided in the center of the regulator’s diaphragm.
If this leakage occurs in situations other than that described above, the internal parts may be damaged or foreign matter may be clogging the product.
