Can a BM8 type auto switch mounting band be mounted on cylinders other than those of the JCM series?

The BM8 type auto switch mounting band is only for use with JCM series cylinders.
For example, the outer diameter of the cylinder tube differs between the JCM series and the CM2 series.
For use with a non-JCM series cylinder, proper auto switch operation verification is required.
