I would like to order a replacement for a D-C73 reed auto switch. What does the “39” after the switch part number on the switch body indicate?

The “39” indicates the year and month of production. It is not related to the auto switch model.
The other 2-digit or 4-digit number on a reed auto switch indicates the production lot.
Ex.) “39” means it was manufactured in September 2003 or September 2013. The “3” represents the last digit of the year, and the next digit represents the month.
Note) The production lot of solid state auto switches is indicated in letters.
